THE SIKC

"Everything begins as an idea." -Earl Nightengale

Opened up in January 2018, The Sims International Kennel Club, commonly referred to as SIKC, aims to provide a fun, safe, and welcoming experience to everyone. We are a show-dog community based around the game Sims 4, striving for realism and depth. We offer something for everyone, from events and trials to just a place to chat and make friends.

The SIKC was founded by Julie Weston and Jordan Hall. In December 2017, we started working hard for hours at a time on our forums and website, producing a setting that ran efficiently and in harmony. We welcome canines of all shapes and sizes, and invite anyone and everyone to come join our community.

"Greetings, I'm happy to go by Kaiser or Ria, the latter being what I go by offline. I'm a military veteran that used to work in the OR with a team, responding to emergencies and performing routine procedures. At times, we also had the privilege of working on and with some of the military working dogs. Since I was a tot, I've always been a real sucker for animals. My main love is protective breeds, although I currently work and show sporting types as part of my profession away from the computer.  I'm incredibly excited to be a part of the SIKC team and I look forward to helping out on the forum."

"Hey! My real name is Madison Paige, so you can refer to me as that as well. I'm from Texas, a sophomore in high school, and 15 years old. After I graduate next year, I plan to pursue a degree and career in veterinary medicine. I own one dog, a two year old tricolor Pembroke Welsh Corgi, named Atlas. I hope I do well helping run this community and I hope to be here for quite a long time! Feel free to message me if you need anything!"

"My name is El and I'm from around the Pacific Northwest. I was somewhat of a farm kid, grew up around and competing with horses and training working dogs which was my initial introduction to the AKC and the UKC. My day job is in the gaming industry which is a whole heap of fun but working with animals has always been my biggest passion and I do a bit of photography for a handful of breeders in between big projects. I'm very much a dog person, have 3 of my own ~ My oldest girl is getting close to 17 and is partially deaf and blind, being introduced to working with her disabilities has been a very eye opening and fascinating thing. My other two are rescues, one very reactive retired SD (GSD/Dobe) and a total goober (Staffy/Husky/BC) that's a ball of snobby husky attitude, Staffy loyalty, and BC energy, training her is definitely a fun challenge. I'm very much looking forward to watching this community grow and being a part of it!"
